Congratulations to our senior business students, Timothy Sinclair, Chanda Reins, Jorge Catumbela, Katie May, and their faculty advisor, David Phillips, as the winners of both the divisional championship and the 1^st Place of the Ethics Match Competition 2008 on Friday, October 31, 2008 at Fort Worth Worthington Hotel and City Club.  We received two trophies, $1,000 prize and the news will be well distributed in the local newspaper.  

Ethics Match Competition is sponsored by the Texas Independent College Foundation (TICF).  This August, Professor Phillips and I were invited for the first time to join the TICF membership and steering committee, and had no idea what this competition is all about.  We were then starting with our strategic planning and training plan from scratch.

The team’s outstanding performance and impeccable debate skills shocked all the judges, presidents, CEOs, CFOs and managers.  It is Lord’s blessings that once again, our quality Christian business education has been proven and well recognized in the secular world.

 When these new champions appeared at our business departmental banquet and vesper Friday evening, wearing medallions and carrying two championship trophies, all business students were applauding cheerfully, shouting loudly, and thanking God for His blessings.
