Resources

Welcome to the virtual library! SWAU’s Chan Shun Centennial Library offers research resources in print and electronic formats. The library’s Webpage, http://library.swau.edu is the gateway to our online catalog of print materials and to online databases of journals, electronic books, reports, and other scholarly materials.

Online Databases

Library databases are indexes as well as text repositories. Nearly 30,000 books and 20,000 journals are available online and full-text through Southwestern. You will discover abstracts and summaries for an even greater number of reports and journal articles. Searching the databases is simple and intuitive. You may use keywords, phrases or standardized language. All databases use Boolean logic and search word operators. The following are of special interest to business students:

·         Netlibrary – electronic books, wide spectrum

·         Academic Search Premiere – multidisciplinary magazines and journals

·         Business and Industry – business trade publications

·         Business and Management Practices – articles and case studies
